A plain-English summary
The terms below are written in plain English to help you understand how we work. They summarise our standard practices and should be confirmed with your own professional adviser before they form part of a binding agreement.
Quotations & Bookings
Quotes are based on the information you provide. Bookings are confirmed once we have all required details.
Passports
Every horse, pony, donkey & related animal must travel with its passport & microchip — it's the law.
Insurance
Horses are carried entirely at the owner's risk. All horses are transported on the understanding that they are insured — please check your policy. We can provide a quotation or recommend insurers.
Loading & Unloading
We allow up to 20 minutes from arrival. Extra time is charged at an hourly rate.
Rest Breaks & Overnight Stays
Journeys include rest breaks in line with drivers' hours. Any overnight stop is agreed with you before booking.
Cancellations
Any contract cancelled within 24 hours of departure will pay 50% of costs. Within 12 hours of departure, the full cost may be charged. We are always happy to re-schedule when possible.
Payment
Payments can be made through our payment gateway or by bank transfer. Cheques must be cleared prior to the travel date. We are happy to receive cash on delivery or collection.
Additional Charges
Additional space, extra loading time and equipment handling may incur additional charges — please ask prior to booking.
